Julio César Pino is is Associate Professor of History at Kent State University, Ohio, specializing in Latin American History.
It happens that he is a communist, a fanatical Muslim and a wannabie terrorist with a huge grudge against democracy and America.
What kind of values can Professor Pino teach to all the young people just entering their adult life?
See for yourself what kind of quality education your taxes can buy (from Professor Pino’s personal Jihad website).
Jihad Manifesto
Bismillah, r-Rahman, r-Rahim
As-salamu-’alykum-wa-rahmatullaahi-wa-barakatuh!
In the name of Allah, the most Compassionate, the most Merciful, peace and blessings of Allah be upon you.
Dear beloved Sister and Martyr:
Freedom bird, freedom bird!
How happy you must feel in the midst of millions of Muslims who have sacrificed themselves for over 14 centuries so that Islam might live. Arabs and Kurds, Chinese and Malays, Indians and Africans walk the same ground alongside you in Jennah (paradise). You, Ayat, are a shining star of the greatest generation raised for humanity since the days of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). I write “you are” because the Koran teaches that those who die in the cause of Allah (all praise is for him) “are not dead but alive, though ye see them not.”
Nice and sweet isn’t it?
Petition to remove this vermin from the lives of you children can be signed HERE

Nice touch including a link to the university. Now if they would just pay attention. Thanks Felis

EB,
Now if they would just pay attention.
Yeah, that’s the hardest part as most of us these days suffer from acute ADD.
The rule is “short and sweet”.

AMEN TO THAT FELIS. I THINK WERE REACHING A POINT IN THIS STRUGGLE AGAINST THE HEATHENS,WHERE WE HAVE TO START CLOSING THE FILES, ON THESE DIRTBAGS!! IT WAS DONE IN EUROPE BY THE S.O.E. , AND OSS, DURING WW2. IT WAS DONE IN MALAYSIA IN 50,S BY THE BRITISH. AND BY THE U.S. IN VIETNAM,(operation PHONEIX) I THINK IT COULD BE DONE IN DOMESTIC CASES,ALL IT WOULD TAKE IS A SPECIAL ORDER. I WOULD PREFER IT TO BE CLEAN, BUT IF THE ODD ONE MAKES THE 6 O, CLOCK NEWS, WELL TOO BAD. YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER ( A.D.D. FACTOR AGAIN) WE ARE AT WAR!!!!! I KNOW OUR FOREFATHERS WOULD HANDLE IT THAT WAY. IT,S ONLY THE SELF HATING LEFT AND LIBERALS THAT THINK YOU CAN HAVE DIALOUGE,WITH THESE HEATHEN SCUM. IF YOU PROFESS INSURECTION AGAINST YOUR GOVERMENT IS NOT THAT A CRIME? ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE IN A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY. I DON,T WANT TRIALS AND REPORTS TO BE FILED, BECAUSE WHEN YOUR FIGHTING A BUNCH OF 7TH CENTURY SCUM THAT WORSHIP A DEATH CULT, THE RULES GO OUT THE WINDOW!!! AND AS FAR AS I KNOW , TERRORISTS ARE NOT COVERED BY THE GENEVA CONVENTION. I HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING A TERORIST DOWN ANYPLACE, ANYTIME!!! AND THAT MEANS DOWN FOR GOOD!!!!!!!!

Pity as an Australian I can’t sign this to give my support to my American friends.
If it was worded differently I certainly would, but I appreciate this would probably weaken the impact of the petition.

Angry Penguin by all means sign the petition.
Comment by elmers brother — April 27, 2006 @ 5:50 am
EB,
It’s the phrase This is a petition from concerned American citizens that cuts me out.
My ethics aren’t quite flexible enough to allow me to do it.
Others could though.
Comment by Angry Penguin — April 27, 2006 @ 9:15 am
EB, Angry,
Yes, this phrase “concerned American citizens” doesn’t seem to leave much room for interpretation.
Comment by Felis — April 27, 2006 @ 9:34 am
gotcha
Comment by elmers brother — April 27, 2006 @ 10:43 am
Unforutnately I cannot change the petition. I will tell you that the petition is set up for anyone to be able to sign and was not meant to include only Americans. The intent was for anyone to be able to sign. That being said I would never ask anyone to do anything they felt unethical. So Angry Penguin et. al. stay true to yourself.

Comment by Warner — April 27, 2006 @ 12:53 pm
We are always reading about how people lose their positions, are forced to ‘apologise’ etc etc by the protests of Islamic fanatics. So why cant we do the same?
Why cant this squirrel’s students start openly protesting against him? They could protest to the administration against his hate speech and his obvious treachery - they could refuse to attend his classes, (because his hate speech ‘offends’ them, why else).
Fight fire with fire - its often the only way.
Comment by dee — April 27, 2006 @ 1:20 pm

That’s what we are trying to achieve.
Hopefully the’ll get rid of him.

I think that fighting the guy with satire is probably another good weapon to use. YOu iknow - using the posters with ‘Those who oppose the religion of peace should be beheaded’ type of thing. Why can’t someon mass produce a few witty remarks - ok, no cartoons - just witty remarks and psot them around as people did in the old anti-Vietnam war days. Where is the fighting spirit of the students? Wit and satire cuts through the veils of deceit like nothing else does.

Skylark : “I think that fighting the guy with satire is probably another good weapon to use ” Ali Sina at faithfreedom.org agrees with your assessment. (extracts from article) Ridiculing Islam will help Muslims.
There are many intelligent people who think they are Muslims and no amount of reasoning will sway them. They are brainwashed and they can’t give up their belief. They will find any excuse to cling to it. These people will benefit a lot if Islam is ridiculed.
We must hit our enemy where it hurts most. Nothing hurts the narcissist more than an attack on his inflated ego and his false self. Nothing destroys him more than ridicule. Why do you think a few cartoons have made a billion Muslims go so nuts? It is because this is their weak spot. They know that ridicule will wipe out Islam. Devil can’t stand ridicule. This is not a joke. This is a serious matter. Islam must be ridiculed and Muhammad must be laughed at so much that the intelligent people feel ashamed calling themselves Muslim. http://www.faithfreedom.org/oped/sina60206p2.htm

‘These people will benefit a lot if Islam is ridiculed.
We must hit our enemy where it hurts most. Nothing hurts the narcissist more than an attack on his inflated ego and his false self. Nothing destroys him more than ridicule’. Spot on Warner - this is a parallel quick way of achieving an end. I’d like to see a combination of Jonathan Swift and Inspector Clouseau in our depiction of Islamic intolerance.
Well - this picture above is from the ‘Smiling Assassin’s Jihadist Manual in the section ‘How to kill with smile: Amrozi leads the way’. Or perhaps ‘Psychopath shows off his teeth: has nothing else to give the world’.

I think we need more than petitions - more like a complete refusal to attend his classes.
Comment by Dee — April 28, 2006 @ 1:43 pm
That’s it Dee. If only some information could be posted to the students’ union with some information that those attending these classes are supporting a violent, anti-democratic, anti-gay anti- human rights view of the world. What an irony that here where the students have a real issue to close the uni with - they are not doing their usual thing. Anyway we can email the students’ union or some other group connected with the uni?
Comment by Skylark — April 28, 2006 @ 2:23 pm
Perhaps a dossier on our very own? One that will follow their public forays around?
Comment by Gravelrash — April 29, 2006 @ 12:12 am
It’s a shame what’s happening to our universities. Whether it be Muslim fanatics or Chinese spies (China has 25,000 nationals in our universities), we need to draw a line one who we admit into our schools and who we allow to teach our children.
Comment by Iran Watch — April 29, 2006 @ 4:14 am
Iran watch - most of the teachers of the teachers in unis are leftie types of the kind that David Horowitz describes in his book ‘The Professors’ which gives us the lie of the land in uni territory today. That is why some private unis are starting up - to give an alternative to the junky propaganda these kids are faced with. If your assessor is a Marxist at uni - what good will it do to write a critique of Marxism?
In Sydney last year a new private uni called Campion College was opened - precisely to give a more balanced account of the humanities. It is in Toongabbie in the west of Sydney and deals only with the humanities. They have lecturers there of the ‘Geoffrey Blainey’ type( one of our great conservative historians) - and students can express conservative views without being penalised. While the uni bills itself a Catholic uni ,the funds were raised by volunteers - the uni was the brainchild of a librarian called Karl Scmude - and is a remarkable achievement in the current poisonous climate. The first enrolment took place this year and if you saw the students you would notice an entire difference between them and those at government unis. They would like this blog for instance and agree with its ’spirit’.

I’ve sent more than 100 e-mails to Ohio newspapers since last Thursday.

How do we make students boycott lectures?
We do not have any means of communications with them.

This is my position exactly.
I am very busy with work, and my News section.
Need a few more weeks to launch our “resource” section.

Interesting - most librarians are lefties. I worked with enough of them to know this for sure, although I did meet a few who were not. The US ALA didnt even protest when the Cuban librarians were given long prison sentences for - wait for it -

Comment by Felis — May 1, 2006 @ 8:36 pm
Dee - this librarian was a rare true conservative who had ‘a dream’ of having a decent humanities university . It took 20 years for him to raise the money to get started. He managed to convince some people in the Catholic area that it was ‘a goer’ and they had an empty monastery which they have him as the basic grounds of the place. From there he worked, painted and renovated and this year the place was opened staff students and all. It has to be fee paying to sustain itself but it is not exorbitant. The students will be able to read Geoffrey Blainey there without any worries.

Why is this jihadist allowed to teach at an American University? This is about the equivilant of Heinrich Himmler being allowed to teach at a prestigious university in Tel-Aviv.

Florian
David Horowitz touched on this topic at the symposium I attended last weekend.
The reason that the left and the jihadists are lined up together? Because both ideologies are utopianisms which contend that by means of their totalitarianism the world can be made a better place for us all.
So why is Dr. Pino at KSU? The Lefties are running the universities!
Felis,
For the same reason, certain “liberals” aligned with Communism. I’m not explaining this very well (tired as a dog). Do you know what I mean? The my-way-or-the-highway philosophy that a particular ideology “knows best.”
I hope that I’m making sense.
